so he has broken up with this girl,but he can't get over her,but he finally decides that it's time to move on,because there is no hope to ever get back together with the girl again(the light inside has left me too),and he wants to be with someone who understands him and loves him back.
i think it's a great song.catchy,too.and Jason totally outsings Chris Daughtry (though Chris is just singing the backing vocals,so i guess it doesn't count!)
