Great song. One of the best on "Chase This Light" for sure. I'm a little fuzzy on the meaning, though. I feel like it's about a relationship that one person really wants. However, he doesn't really know how to open up to the girl and she can't open up to him. Therefore they are never going to be together and they'll remain all that they've always been. He starts to wonder if there is something else he is missing: something they could share. But he realizes that his hopes are only a dream and so he continues on not knowing what to do.
