I dare he who takes my place To kill you with compliments You can spend hours on the phone Our high school replay You'll cry and aspire words I've been there once before But your lips are best left untouched Ask anybody

  • Pretty straight forward, whoever she finds next shell do the same things with him they used to do. He dares the new guy to "kill her with compliments" because he knows where that gets him. She'll cry and make a dramatic profound image of sincerity to this new guy. He knows it'll be the same old story. She should be avoided

I've been dying just to tell you something I've been waiting oh for so long You like to tell me that youre fine without me You'll regret it when I'm gone

I pray to god you cannot breathe Or go a single day without the thought of me When you decide to go, just know You can go free

  • Very straight forward.

You'll ask him to burn inside While you beg me for one more time And I clean up the mess we made With our tongues bleeding when our mouths met We'll kiss to exchange the blame As we ignore consequence But your lips are best left untouched Ask anybody.

  • She'll instigate this new guy to lust for her and "burn" for her love, all the while still trying to have her cake and eat it too with the author. The author will agree and clean up all the mess created by the left over feelings and drama because of the continued physical relationship.

My take.
