This is a concept album? Well that would explain why all of exoplanet's lyrics have been sci-fi based. Personally I thought it was about how the earth was born and has evolved since then, also adding a little bit of the whole "we destroyed the earth" theme. But I think if it's really a concept album, we'll have to wait for the whole album to come out before we piece it together.
@corerulez think the concept is more that we have destroyed the Earth and it will return to it's original state after our demise (or along those lines).
