Tonight, has to be one of my overall favorite songs. Pretty sad..considering, its depressing..but its so real to me. Its hit HOME for me over and over threw out the last 21 years of my life in relationships. I consider only now...calling it quits...Ive had it with love.

I believe its a song, of throwing in the towel. Someone, who continues to go on and on about something..when the other knows full well, their wrongs. BUT they wont let it go. There is NO forgiveness.
"I just want to go to sleep, turn out the light" Most people find refuge in sleep. Its my sactuary...when I can actually get it.

And place it in your hands.
At some point, there is bargaining. Either, they want it to work...and its a move for a stronger, and better future. OR...the love is dead. You can place it in their hands...and they throw it on the ground and say are you crazy?

We overlook what we dont want to see, and focus in what should be ignored. We dont listen to what they want us to hear...but we hear what we want too. Most humans, will occationally say what they dont want to say...so they dont show their underbelly. "cannot find the time" is a statement of being fed up and not wanting to find the time to continue fighting...or bothering to try and find that "rainbow" they are seeking. Its exhausting..and weakens the spirit.

Some people, never believe that you really "hear" them. How many times, does someone want to hear about a mistake they have done...and not be forgiven for it? How many people want to continue in a relationship that is defiant, and hostile?
