One thing I've always found interesting about Elliott's songs are that you can really inturpet them however it is you do, or even want to. Seems like he may have "inside metephors" if you will (the same idea of inside jokes) things that represent people, places or things to him that really only he or other close to him may understand. Just a thought though.
