What a beautifully quiet and soothing song, yet with a touch of melancholy.
I think Dan Messe of Hem says it best: "My father, he had cancer this past year and we were trying to keep him alive. We actually just lost him about a month ago. I wrote that song for him and had Sally sing it. We burned him a copy when he went to the hospital. I know it made him very happy, and I know it probably kept him there a little longer than he otherwise might've been. Like so many of our songs it's about trying to find comfort in what can be an incredibly hard place to live."
