For some reason, I think this song is more sarcastic. I think Davey is making fun of or just expressing how people now a days would go as far as hurting themselves just to have a certain person by their side. They become so obsessed that they do everything to try to see what the person is doing at all times. How people don't cherish their own personal lives but give away everything to anyone. I just feel like Davey isn't the type of person who would write a song about his love feelings. Unless he really did change that much over the last 10 years D:
