I see this song as Lzzy falling in love with someone she knew would pain her, but still cant get enough of the pain/euphoria that comes with the relationship. She gets high off of this person and wants to be consumed by the effect he has on her. Almost like she knows shes going to get hurt but can't stop or help the way she has become wholly consumed by the entire situation.
Drink the wine, take your time, consume all of it. She knew she was getting 'drunk' from the beginning but then when the real emotions hit her, 'I don't wanna be saved, I don't wanna be simple' (DON'T THINK ITS SOBER) I think shes saying, fuck the rest and forget playing it safe, this is what I want/need.
