I can see how people could see how this song could be about sex, because it does have its mentions, but as far as rape goes, how does the lyric, “Take the pain, Take the pleasure” fit the meaning of rape. There is nothing pleasurable about rape. Sex, yes, but rape, no, there is no pleasure. Though with people thinking this song is about sex, just saying that it’s about sex, it seems to boring and basic, so if anything regarding sex, this song has its mentions about rough sex.

But I think that this song is COMPLETELY and ENTIRELY about BDSM (Bondage & Discipline/Dominance & Submission/Sadism & Masochism).

Note: At the beginning of the song, it sounds as if the beat in the background is like someone hitting someone with a riding crop three times and then the forth hit is a whip snapping.

So hot out the box -Its stepping out of the box, so mixing up your normal routine. Can you pick up the pace? -I think its about skipping foreplay and just getting right into what he has planned. Turn it up Heat it up I need to be entertained -Self explanatory. He needs entertainment. Push the limit are you with it baby don't be afraid -With stepping out of the box (the first line), pushing limits and experiencing a dark side, and to not be afraid of it Ima hurt you real good baby -BDSM, Domination Let's go, it's my show -Saying he’s a dominator and that it’s his show to control Baby do what I say -Submission, listening to her dominator Don't trip off the glitz that I'm gonna display -Knowing that she will get excited when she sees the “toys” I told you ima hold you down until you're amazed -You’re in his control till your amazed Give it to you till you're screaming my name -He’s not stopping

No escaping when I start -Bondage, you’re tied up, you can’t go anywhere Once I'm in I own your heart -Dominator will have complete control There's no way to ring the alarm -An alarm could be a safe word, but if there is no way to ring it, then the submissive could be wearing a gag, or there could be no safe word So hold on until it's over -Hold on for the wild ride, cause its not stopping

Oh, do you know what you got into? -Self explanatory. Can you handle what I’m about to do? -Self explanatory. He’s going all out. Pushing limits Cause it's about to get rough for you -BDSM, its rough on its own. I'm here for your entertainment -Its entertainment. Self explanatory.

Oh, I bet you thought I was soft and sweet -Seeing the domination is a surprise, think he was only sweet You thought an angel swept you off your feet -Same explanation as line before But I'm about to turn up the heat -Could be like a turn on. Getting turned on. Self explanatory I'm here for your entertainment -Its entertainment. Self explanatory.

It's all right, you'll be fine, baby I'm in control -When as a couple, finally starting to experiment on BDSM play, you do need to find a partner that you can trust. You’re putting your self in a completely vulnerable situation, so you need some you can trust to make sure you remain safe. So it’s saying that you can trust me with what I’m about to do to you. Take the pain, take the pleasure -BDSM is to experience pain, but it brings pleasure I'm the master of both -Master of both pain and pleasure, so a master of Domination Close your eyes, not your mind -Closing your eyes, I though of a blindfold. When you’re blindfolded, it obviously limits your sight, so it heightens your other senses, so you feel more. Then with the mind, it’s having an open mind; being open to the experience and all that you’re feeling. So I think that then connects to the possible blindfold, heightening your other senses so being open to new sensitivity, whether is pain or pleasure. Let me into your soul -Let the dominator control you I'm a work you till you you're totally blown -Saying that you’re going to be absolutely amazed.

Song Meaning

I like most of your explanation, but I doubt he's singing to a girl. Adam's never hid that he's gay, and that's why his fans love him. He's never apologized for who he is.
