It's interesting if you think about it in terms of Christianity. I listened to this song so many times, and then suddenly when I was at church, the line about "fill your mouth with flesh and wine" came to mind. And then when I read the lyrics afterward, "You speak to my soul like you've known it before" really stood out too.
I don't know for sure, now, that that's not what it's about.
