I love this song. It took a second to grow on me, but after it did, I really love it. I had to see the lyrics while listening to the song, and that's when I loved it.
Anyway, the meaning of this song kind of seems obvious, unless I am wrong about my description, then I guess it's not so obvious. I think these two meet at a bar or something and they basically want to hook up. She has a boyfriend but he doesn't care. They make the plan for her to sneak out of the house at 9pm when he is outside waiting for her. They hook up, and he realizes he likes her more than he thought. He thought he just wanted her for a night, but when he sees her out and with other guys, he's jealous because she means more than that to him. He wants her as his girlfriend.
Let's Get It doesn't make a bad song. Even if you are unsure about a songof theirs at first, trust me, just look up the lyrics and play the song every now and then. You will end up loving it, I promise. These guys are really good.
I love the mixture of punk(which I love) with a tiny bit of hip-hop. It's a really good mix. I am a punk lover, but this is different and really good. I hope Let's Get It never, ever, ever changes their style.
