The girl in the relationship complains about things and breaks up with the guy. Then after a couple of days the girl realizes she messed up breaking up with him. She "can't stop missing [him]". However, she disappointed him and "it makes [him] feel a bit complete" that he's able to break her heart like she did to him. Then ironically after a couple more weeks he begins to realize he misses her, and "wishes [they] could start over". However, she's moved on. Then they can't stop seeing each other and it's torcherous.
That's how I see it atleast. Perhaps it's a bit literal, but it seems simple enough.
