This is a really deep song and to me I think it's talking about someone who's in the army..and their "special someone" or whatever is scared that they will never see them again... "I'm frozen with this fear that you may disappear..before I've given you the truth" and maybe this person is writing letters to them...."I'd bleed my heart out on this paper for you So you can see what I can't say."
