Well, yes that makes sense since he said it, but I highly doubt tommy hates the human race as much as he says he does, it sounds more for publicity. And F.Y.I. tommy is kind of a human being too. But anyway I thought it was clever how "raping our mother" is actually the raping of mother earth and how we bulldozed it and made skyscrapers and felt satisfied with how it looked. Pretty good song.
