The way I see it, she is resigned. She still remembers and misses him but she knows everything is lost and is not asking to have it back. I agree, it is nostalgic.

@Kate14, it's over. As much as she hates to admit it, it's over. And it will never be the same. She will never claim that same love again. Not with him. Not ever. Someone else holds a different torch to the same flame. She just has to light the spark.
