For any english-speaking fans...

"Sang d'encre" is the name the for the ink pouch of an octopus or squid, and is a french term denoting one who's sick with worry or panicked. This is a heartbreaking song about unconditional love. The protagonist in this song is in love with a junkie, and pleads with her to come back to his place and clean up, even if she's not in love with him anymore.

Les francophones, dis-moi si j'ai fait des erreurs en traduction; mon francais n'est pas parfait!

I've made myself into an ink cloud over you, like an octopus would if trapped in a bowl. After I saw your face this morning, I believe that I should think very hard about you.

I set sent some songs on the wind hoping that a messenger pigeon would sing them to you day and night until you came back here (back here, back here).

Don't talk to me any more about salad, tell me every time you feel sick. I've got shoulders padded with strength, they might help when you're crying in the dark (in the dark).

I've made myself into an ink cloud over you, like an octopus would if trapped in a bowl. After seeing the wounds on your arms this morning I'm glad I've kept you on my mind.

Whether we're friends or lovers, our hearts now beat in unison. I understand you better than you think, so next time, please call me (call me, call me).

You finally came back today to show me the scars on your arms. I'm glad I've kept you on my mind. I've made myself [sick with worry] over you.

I've made myself into an ink cloud over you, like an octopus would if trapped in a bowl. After seeing the wounds on your arms this morning, I'm glad I've kept you on my mind. I've made myself [sick with worry] over you...

The necklace that you made for me broke at 4:45 yesterday. What happened at 4:45? You probably wanted to do yourself harm.

I've made myself into an ink cloud over you, like an octopus would if trapped in a bowl. After seeing the wounds on your arms this morning, I'm glad I've kept you on my mind.

My Interpretation

hello, your translation is very good. yes "sang d'encre" is a french term to show how we can worry about somebody. when blood turns to dark beacause of lot of care and orrying.

i just wanted to tell you or give more accuracy about some words.

"Je me suis fait un sang d'encre pour toi Comme une pieuvre dans un gros bac chinois voir ta gueule ce matin je te crois J'ai bien fait de penser trs fort toi"

The third it's : to see your face this morning, i believe you. i was right to...

Qu'est ce qu'un "Bac Chinois" ?
