I agree that this is the best song off the major lodge album. Too me its as if he's remembering that age where you wanted to set out on your own, maybe even though you were too young, and all the rebelliousness and angst we had when we were young. How we were going to "take the whole world down alone" and how we were invincible, and now being that he is older and realizes the truth and the downfalls of that mindset and the outcome of his actions, he finds himself in the opposite position, maybe telling his child or someone else that the road they walk "you're gonna walk it alone" as he did. Jet Black may be a sign of his ignorance, and Sunrise may be a sign of his enlightenment.
