i think the meaning of this song is pretty obvious, not really knowing anyone, just liking the "new" appeal, or so to say.
I actually like the lyrics, even the Japanese exchange student reference.
but he really screwed things at the end, with the whole "i love the Japanese etc, etc,"
I know he just added that at the end to be like, this isn't a hit at the Japanese at all, so there was no way anyone could take the song offensively, I personally don't think it was necessary at all, but it definitely butchered the song for me regardless.
