This one of the instantly lovable songs on this album.
I think many of the songs on this album revolve around the idea of finding your worth in yourself,
i.e. you gotta believe, let you go, and this song.
"i'm sick of myself for letting you get to me, taking everything I'm suppose to believe"
I have the lyric book, ^ this is legitimate :)
personally for Bryce, I think this song is about him not wanting to have to give up making music the way he does, almost like he feels like his is on the verge of deciding between giving up music, or making it the way most musicians do in the industry to just make money.
In a more general way I think this song is more about finding value in yourself, and in your work, that even if it means nothing to anyone else, if it means something to you, that is so much more than what anyone else could ever think, this song is sort of a fight, it's like he realizing that if he doesn't want "to give it up" it means something,

just my take on this song.
