Inspired Patterson by seeing all those old ARS road cases in the various pawn shops and music stores around Athens and Atlanta. ARS is the Atlanta Rhythm Section to all you young ones. There were big in the day.
I recall hearing Pattersoon telling this story on a recording some time ago, but for the life of me, cannot find it. Any ideas?
