I think he is a real man to sing a song about his past. He didn't have to tell anyone about smokin cigerettes so young or, 'the green' at all, he is so honest. You can tell he has been through alot but he still manages to have such an amazing perspective on life with all his other songs. I think this song was kinda to explain how hard life was when he was young but how it got better & when its hard donnt give up hope. Im glad he left home and got away from his emotional stress.
