I think xxDylanIsHardcorexx is right. Craig is talking about not being able to be with his daughter enough and all the problems he was having when he was in btf, like his alcoholism. Craig is a christian so he is kinda blaming all this on the devil and he is saying how the devil tries to destroy everything (we all have the devil hidden deep inside). I think the part saying "oh my god shes just a little girl" is intended directly to the devil, and how he is even trying to destroy the life of a little girl. xxDylanIsHardcorexx is right about the "this time we will be much better i know were not looking back again" part, about how he will avoid these problems now with his new band.
