actually i think it comes from this old riddle a friend of mine found
two brothers' father died. in order to inherit his vast fourtune, they must have a horse race, the catch is, the brother that loses wins the riches. the boys refused to race until one day they decided to talk to a wise man. after talking to the wise man, they decided to race.
what did the wise man tell them that made them change their mind?
