Um, I don't see how you get this as a song about Mic Christopher. Please explain.
To me it's about
love that changes over time, that falls away or ends [the arms that once held you have receded over time / the walls that held you with us have fallen out of sight]. This could be death, but doesn't need to be.
lines we draw between us, keeping us apart or together, depending on whether we label ourselves 'friend' or 'foe'.
And then, that despite all the forces that keep us separate, the times we spend together are worth it, even if we can't stay together forever, even if it has to end.
Um, I don't see how you get this as a song about Mic Christopher. Please explain.
