Hello, im new here, ( on the whole site) like ixithegreat said, I heard it was from a fathers point of view . A father lost there child, which must be one of the worist losses a father can have. but what ever the true meaning is, or if it is just " A loss" it is a great song, which is sung so wonderfully ( sorry bout my bad spelling) it is just a great song.
