i think this song is about more than one girl, its about pop culture's influence on this generation where looks are everything. and when your confidence is only skin-deep, it has the opposite effect. when everything a girl tries to be is for guys to want her, she's just another ugly girl.
this song makes superficiality seem contagious. its pretty creative of them. its like a disease that causes its victim act as a slave towards society, playing the "young, dumb impetuous thing."
oh and i love how 100 monkeys have "she'll leave a beautiful corpse" in the song. they totally captured the idea of how this generation wants to be frozen in their pretty make-up and perfect bodies.
