This song always reminds me of my parents. When I was young they went through a really tough time and my dad did some very stupid things. There were times when my mom considered leaving him, and my dad even moved out for a while. Eventually he told her that he knew he'd been stupid, and it wasnt fair how hard things had been for her, but he wanted the chance to try again and do things better. She gave him that chance. Things were rocky for a few years after, but they're doing really well now and their happier than ever. My mom trusts him again, and she's really glad she waited for him to "come alive."
