NUMBER 1: i love the opening, it sounds like a fricken sitar! and then opens into some pretty heavy stuff.
2: He's basically saying that with this girl in his life, he's a completely new person. He sees everything, including himself in a new light.
With her there is no temptation corrupting him, and he no longer feels like he's drowning(will no longer breath the ocean water). He ends by saying he can shed his skin, and start anew.
Great song, a nice break from the first half of the album. It almost sounds like he's hinting towards an alcohol problem.
