I could be wrong, but ive been listening to these guys forever! sad they lost a member to ADTR.. BUT!
It sounds to me like its a guy who is trying to hook back up with an ex. She makes it clear that it doesn't mean anything "You're Gonna Get Yourself Hurt, she said". He feels horrible and dirty after, knowing that those feelings they had are gone forever. He had hoped this would bring her back, rekindle something, but no. Near the end, he is full of questions but nobody has answers(think "why wont she give me another chance?") and he blames her for ruining everything, she must be the devil.
It seems like he knows he is in the wrong, but is kinda panicking because nothing has worked, and now he is finally trying to come to terms, but still blames it on her.
