I love how this song has so much emotion in it... As sorry as anyone would be to hear someone was going through a break up, I still believe that I'd rather hear a song about something the artist had been through as it would have more emotion in the tone of their voice... as opposed to an artist writing about something that is completely fictional.

That would have worked on me yesterday." I love the way this is worded mainly because it has more effect emphasising that only three words/eight letters could make all the difference if said at the right time.

That we don't wanna believe" I feel the first part ties in nicely with the face the chorus gives off a feeling some what confused. And therefore may say something he'll grow to regret. But at this current moment in time he feels its what's right.
