When I hear this song, I think about all the times I've sold pot. Very fast paced, no time to think, one thought behind twenty or 30 actions.
Here's my proof that the artist was thinking the same thing:
"Scar'd money, broke money" - Paranoia ruins deals, you can't make money if you don't take the risk.
"There's madmen and dealers and players and me" - madmen are customers and competition, dealers are the ones with alot of product, players are the one's that connect everyone.
"you player, you play, the rules of the trade"- The drug trade is often referred to as "the game" by those who are playing it.
"keep cool, form a line"- Forming a line to get their fix. A line is the way drugs are distributed. First there's someone with a pound broken into ounces, then the ounces broken into grams and so on. Those in power with alot of product try to keep those below them in line.
