I don't really know what it's about, but I know Anderson has (or used to have) a fascination with violence and so this is possibly just a fantasy sequence of a gang murdering a 'Flash Boy'.

I've always thought about this song being about a hate crime against a gay teen. I really don't know why, besides the fact that the first time I heard this song was while I was writing a play concerning that, and the music video suggests that this is definitely about someone being killed by a group of teens.
