i think this song can also describe depression in a way the wolves being thoughts or experience or stresses that crowd the mind. Maybe like existentialist issues or troubles with the philosophies of life, death and love. Kind of like addressing the issues and when things scare you when youre younger you call out to your mum. I spose growing up and having to deal with these things,and how negative thoughts just multiply and take over and you cant escape.
these thoughts are beautiful and strange and ultimately glorious but at the same time can be devastating holes to fall into.
