This is my favorite song off of Streets of Gold. I think the meaning's pretty obvious; a girl likes a guy that's older, and her innocence starts to fade as they get closer, because, being older, he's into things she hasn't yet been exposed to. He doesn't want to hurt her, so he's letting her go before she becomes a different person. I had this exact situation happen to me a while ago, so I'm guessing that's why I love this song so much. Plus, it's a song that actually has some meaning, which is different for a band like 3oh!3
