I agree with Winni on this one. Im sad they lost their singer to ADTR!! cuz Four Letter Lie's new cd wasn't nearly as fun.
But this song really hits me, because i can completely relate. There was this girl i had been trying to get for a long time, and she kept me interested in her, and like dropped hints that it would go somewhere. Turned out she had just been using me, and I had refused to see it for a long time.
So eventually, i just got fed up and was like no im not letting this happen anymore. It was so hard to do, and i still have so much trouble telling her no, because im a sucker for cute girls.
I think this song is kind of a similar situation, she has been taking him for granted for too long, and just takes and takes without ever giving anything back, but hes too nice of a guy to stop her. When he finally does, its like it hits him how bad it was, so now hes completely done with her. Now, shes just a ghost to him.
Honestly one of my all time favorite songs. I'm still surprised nobody really listened to them back when this came out.. they were good
I KNOWW!! its really sad they lost him, because i thought that as a band, they were rediculous good. and NOBODY listened to them back then, now though ive gotten tons of people into them, and everyones sad they wont be as good haha

But i completely feel you. Thats exactly the situation i was in for about 5 months.. and one day i was drivin around listenin to this song, and when it hit that little break with "This place has left me a grave", it finally kinda clicked.
