This song is very heartbreaking.(Plus the collaboration with Jason Cameron from Bury me Tomorrow) The "Lonely" term being used here, as a result from a failed relationship and a failed establishment of a relationship/unrequited love.
These scenario made the person Lonely, and made Apathy reigned in his heart. In some expected manner, a person who is lonely, is expected to hold him/her, yet his/her soul must move on otherwise.:/
