It's about a guy talking to a friend and describing how his friend continuously screws up every relationship he's in (break the girl / same mistake over and over again). He tries to tell him to change his ways (hence the "say goodbye to one more day" part) but since he still keeps on doing the same old shit, tomorrow (which obviously mean a new beginning or a new chapter of his life) literally NEVER COMES. So it comes right back to a life of misery that's on a loop because he refuses to change.
The whole "Until you see what you've become / Keep spinnin' circles around the sun" part is my most favorite line. I also find the line "Until you finally love someone" kind of bittersweet because 'till he finds that 'someone', the life he really hopes for will never happen.
