I think he is dreaming about his soul mate or something like that. Because the whole song is talking about him sleeping. "No it don't feel like sleep when I'm this alive". He's saying he sees this girl in his dreams and he knows somehow that she's real so he "believes in her" because he knows they are meant to be and will find each other some day. And he hates when he wakes up from his dreams of her because she "disappears". Idk maybe there's a deeper meaning to this song but that's what I got from it. :) I love tyler hilton though, he's amazing.
