This is a really good song. Nixon has taken his vocals to a very different level in this album.
Just a comment, but I really think he says "You came to me with hope for a future
And I came to you with a WEIGHTED LIFE." It would make a little bit more sense because if he had a weighted life, then one would see why he would hold back (I was thinking about telling you I was in love with you).
but it also could be ".. I came to you with a waiting line, for you, cause i dont want to lose you" and it meaning that he was trying to hold on to this person by making them wait and hoping that if so, they would stay.
but it also could be ".. I came to you with a waiting line, for you, cause i dont want to lose you" and it meaning that he was trying to hold on to this person by making them wait and hoping that if so, they would stay.
