It took me a while to figure the song meaning out...
I believe in the chorus she is talking about the girl in the mirror(herself) who has to save herself from the current situation in a relationship. She is hanging the receiver which means she needs a break to find herself but she'll try again later so she still gives the relationship a chance and when they meet again she wants him to say that he loves her...they gotta get through the difficult time and wait for the new beginning(vision), a change...and until then there is only the superstition.
