I just love the clash of masculine and feminine symbols in this song, and how she uses them as imagery for a subversive violent rebellion.
The song comes of as obvious and self explanatory to what it could mean, but for me it explains how something once symbolized full of sugar, sweetness and harmless like a baby doll has gone through this nuclear transformation into something more of what Skye Sweetnam sees herself. Something just as sweet but has a twinge of darkness to it.
