The meaning to this song is pretty evident...

there's a stylish gal and she's stolen the heart of one of our dear Zolas, but she refuses to open up to or give into him in any way. He looks at her as some kind of powerful being, either an animal or pharaoh that he just can not tame. She is so cold that she wont even laugh at his jokes. She shows so much resentment towards our lovestruck Zola but he still finds himself lying awake at night when he knows that she's back in town. In the end he wishes that people just would show a little passion once in a while.

I think.... that i got that right wouldn't you say?

It's about the hipsters

Met her at the Biltmore, she was cold and over-styled -Had to be better, sacrificed comfort and functionality for high-priced out there fashion at a concert where functionality is rather important.

She may not be a pharaoh, but she guzzled down the Nile -she obviously is not a pharaoh, but she definitely takes like one

Won't you cry on my shoulder, won't you laugh at my jokes? It's okay to relax in this forest of folks Cause nobody's aiming a stick at your spokes So won't you cry on my shoulder, won't you laugh at my jokes? -Won't you do...

sorry Daren21 but i like StormCrow's explanation better cuz its gewd
