yea, I'm more with Mzw but JohnnyDeath has the overall premise here too. The "Ged route" of the modern day... the type of guy who is stuck at home replacing the engine in his firebird all fuckin' summer that he bought on pinched pennies used, when he probably shoulda gotten a bigger car w/ more roomspace and a better job instead.
Life is lame at the post-hs, pre-college... or middle of college (in my case) stage. there's not much else to do than get fucked, fuck, or fuck around on nothing- unless youre at a university or somehow landed that life job already. Most people are in this situation than others realize, I think... a lot of us put on a front and act like we have our life planned out at 22 and it's the furthest thing from that, and i live in a suburban white shithole thats probably middle-class, but pretty depressing nonetheless. i know people who would kill to be 22 again tho... this song reminds me of someone i used to know very well, and now know not at all (but for reasons unavoidable).
