The whole bit between "if you took all the good stuff... still be the boy who rocks your world"... I think she's basically saying "Yeah, I'm messed up, but would you still love me if I wasn't? That's part of who I am."
The second verse, I think, is implying that the partner has issues, too. And the singer is saying that if her lover will stay by her through the bad times, she'll stay by her lover.
