He talks about hiding things you fear, and the whole "don't ask, don't tell" line, and I think he's talking about how not everyone can be classified as gay and straight when he talks about being pigeon-holed... Not to mention the whole "your skin is burning at the sight of me, your mask can't hide what you're thinking" bit.
I think the "master plan" is, basically, about telling the world that mass-exposure to homosexuality will get them used to it. It's the key to acceptance.
