So about the song; I think it's another one about being a punk. Like Against the Grain or Henchmen, it speaks about doing your own thing, not what is just accepted by society. It's a call to action of taking a stance, better yet, a resistance stance.
The lyrics are genius, I love how Bad Religion attacks people and organizations directly:
You're an archetype,
that they can pin to the wall
As you cling to all convictions like a farm animal in its stall
Never thinking of the bigger world outside
As they take you for a ride
That hit me pretty hard, because the analogy attacks citizens of all Earth directly. So don't be an archetype like they say, take a resist stance.
