in my opinion, this song can be summed up in 3 letters. WBC. It seems to be clearly referencing them in several parts of the song. i.e.- no one learns from someone they hate. I haven't spoken to many people who don't "hate" the WBC. also, the line "How many have you pushed away? And how many have you saved?" could be a direct question to the organization themselves. they claim that their protests are only in the interests of saving people, but, i seriously doubt that anyone has joined their church because of the shock of their protests. Basically, I think that ABR is telling these extremists to lighten up, because that kind of strategy doesn't work.
