I've had this song on my iPod for a while and never really noticed anything special about it besides a catchy guitar rift and interesting voice from Anthony, but yesterday I started thinking about what it could mean and was surprised
I started really listening to it at:
"And even off the aircraft
Everything seems to make us laugh"
When I heard this, I spontaneously thought, 'What would make me laugh at everything?" and after a few seconds, marijuana came into my mind. I then thought about the alignment of laughing to aircrafts, and airplanes are generally 'high'. At this point, I doubted the validity of my assumption because I have repeatedly heard from fans that Anthony Green is drug free, and a song dedicated to drugs would be a bit unusal. But then, I remembered Drug Dealer from Avalon and thought maybe it's a similar structure. So, I kept listening, and eventually heard:
