To start, I couldn't disagree more with sodidgewse.
Every way you wonder if you're wrong
Inaccurate and inprecise
There is no gift without a price
I'm so mistaken, lost my direction
My souls been shaken
Do you really think that Anthony Green and the band in general have any doubts or concerns about the music they make? If so, you are either expressing misguided ignorance or venting teenage angst against a common (and often wrongfully accused) antagonist. I wholeheartedly believe that any issues between Circa and Atlantic have been settled before the production of the album, otherwise it would not have been produced by them. Also, brenddun makes an excellent point in the increased obsolescence of record labels. If this were a newer, less experienced band, I would most likely agree with you sodidgewse. But Anthony Green is a lyrical artist that would never simply whine about his difficulties with a recording company in one of their songs.
Now, this is my interpretation of the song, which may be just as wrong as yours, but it's what makes sense to me.
"I will find a different way to say
Your gonna have to change everything you made
Your going to have to reword every metaphor you've used
So that people who are hearing are confused"
I took this part as a slight to the motif found throughout music, especially Circa Survive and similar bands, that appear to disguise the meanings of their songs so as to leave them open for unique interpretation among their fans. However, it's possible that fans began characterizing Circa's songs with common metaphors that fans have been exposed to. For example, in several of the songs on Juturna and On Letting Go, much of the meanings (at least on this site) pertain to relationships due to Anthony's diction, when he may have meant something else entirely. Therefore, he has to restructure his figures of speech and syntax to confuse his audience even more, ironically helping them form their own ideas about the songs.
Running out of time so I'll just do one more stanza.
I would find a different way to go
There's no signs in life to guide you on that road
And if its the most important thing you'll say
Make sure they understand
I interpreted this part as an observation Anthony has found in his career, similar to the legendary Robert Frost poem detailing taking the "road less traveled by". In this song, he strongly suggests avoiding that road, the opposite of what he has done, undeniably, because you have seemingly no one to relate to. I have difficulty understanding what is represented by the pronoun "its", but he could mean that if you do decide to take the less traveled road in life, music, etc., then be sure to let people know what is important to you. This doesn't really coincide with another track from Blue Sky Noise, "Dyed in the Wool", where he literally says "Nothing's gonna change that hopeless feeling I get when you say you understand, but I know you can't," which seems to condone avoiding the subject in general.
